Performing Arts

Italy boasts centuries of excellence in the performing arts. So what better place to learn dance, opera and theatre than right here? LdM’s professional trainers teach students a wide selection of different dance genres—from the passionate Flamenco, with its slow Soleares, medium Alegria and fast Bulerias, to ballet, street funk, hip-hop and modern dance.

At LdM Florence students learn everything about Renaissance historical dance and ballet with a special focus on the Romantic period. Theatre studies also find fertile ground at LdM, where students explore the Italian tradition of theatre performance in the Commedia dell’Arte.

Several performing arts courses are offered in partnership with Fondazione Franco Zeffirelli. For more information, please click here
