Literature

LdM’s literature courses are designed to give students the opportunity to study Italy’s vast literary tradition and compare it to European literature from the past and present eras. From Shakespeare’s portrayal of Italy to contemporary European works, students are sure to deepen their literary interests.

Students will develop advanced critical and analytical skills through special projects and narrative and temporal analyses. A core element of the course offerings is designed to acquaint students with key texts and developments across several major European literatures.
