LdM-Marist Degree programs

The Instituto Lorenzo de Medici (LdM) has partnered with Marist College - a four-year accredited master’s level comprehensive institution located primarily in New York, USA - to offer both undergraduate and graduate degrees in Italy. The Marist-LdM program has been developed to offer students alternatives to studying in the United States in fields that include studio art, art history, Italian language, conservation studies, digital media, fashion design, and interior design, as well as a graduate program in museum studies. Marist College maintains a branch campus at Florence, Italy that is fully approved/accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.

Upon completion of the course of study, students receive a Bachelor's or Master’s Degree from Marist College. All coursework and related activities are conducted exclusively at the LdM Florence campus in Italy.

Transfer students from educational institutions worldwide and students who have completed LdM Certificate Programs are eligible to apply for direct entry to the second or third year of the Degree Program. Credit for work already completed is granted on an individual basis after evaluation by the equivalency commission of the Marist College Registrar's Office.

Students enrolled in the Degree Program have unparalleled access to all of LdM's facilities, events, festivals, and services. Additional services are provided by Marist College, including a complete e-database for research, academic advising, a writing lab, and residential life activities.
